Manfred Weber

Member of the European Parliament, Chairman of the EPP Group

Manfred Weber was born in 1972 in Niederhatzkofen. After his vocational Baccalaureate, he became a Dipl. Engineer in Physical Technology at the Munich University of Applied Science. After his studies, he founded two companies in the field of environmental management, quality management and occupational safety. He was early active in the Youth Section of the CSU and the CSU Party. Between 2002 and 2004, he was member of the Bavarian State Parliament and since 2004 he is member of the European Parliament. From 2009 to 2014, he was vice-Chairman, since 2014 he is Chairman of the EPP Group.

On a national level, he is Vice-President of the CSU Party.
