Regional Head of Mergers, Acquisitions and Transformation at Allianz Group

Adeolu Adewumi-Zer is the Regional Head of Mergers, Acquisitions and Transformation Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya, a position she assumed in January 2018. Prior to joining Allianz Africa in 2017, she held various positions within Allianz Group among them, Head of Strategy & Sales Development, Istanbul, Turkey (2015 – 2017); Head of Strategy Execution & Emerging Consumers, Munich, Germany (2012 – 2015) and AVP Global Reward & Performance, Group HR, Munich, Germany (2011 – 2012).
Prior to Allianz, she served, first as an Actuarial Consultant, then an International Benefits Consultant at Hewitt Associates (2000 – 2011), which is now a subsidiary of the Aon Group called Aon Hewitt Chicago.
She completed two Bachelor of Sciences in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from The Pennsylvania State University, in the USA, as well as several professional qualifications, including a Diploma in International Employee Benefits (Dip.IEB) / International Employee Benefits Association / UK, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) / Society of Actuaries / USA and Enrolled Actuary (EA) / Department of the Treasury and Department of Labor / USA. Additionally, she has both conferences and publications to her credit.
In addition to her responsibilities at Allianz Africa, Adeolu is married with two children. Her hobbies include dancing, reading, running and traveling.
